Don't miss out on your student's high school yearbook! 

Our early bird yearbook special price is $55 through January 8; after that, books will be full price at $65. 

Buy online with a small fee through the district payment portal or in-person without a fee at the bookkeeper's office.

• To check if you already preordered, log into your payment portal to view your purchase history. If needed, you can contact our bookkeeper for help.

Senior Portraits

Many families choose to submit their own headshot of their senior for the yearbook instead of using the school portrait taken on picture day. Submitting a senior portrait is NOT required, and we will use the school photo in the yearbook if a senior portrait is not submitted. There is no charge to submit a senior portrait. 

SUBMISSIONS OPEN SEPTEMBER 1. The deadline to submit a senior portrait is Monday, November 30th. Seniors and families will have the opportunity to preview their portrait in January prior to printing.

Senior portraits should be submitted to Varsity Yearbook. Submitting a senior portrait is free to all seniors.

Portrait requirements:

• Head and shoulders view 
• Indoor or outdoor background is okay
• About 2.5 x 3.5 size, full color
• Jpg or png format and high resolution (3000 dpi or 1.5-3 megapixels)
• NO screenshots
• NO props (animals, sports equipment, instruments, hats, sunglasses, masks, etc.)

YEARBOOK NAME CHANGES - Due Oct. 2

If the name you use is significantly different from your name in Synergy, you have the option to request a name change in the yearbook.

Email yearbook@southsaxons.com with the following information:

1. Your preferred name.
   • A trusted staff member who can verify your name preference.
2. Reply to our follow-up email confirming that you understand the following:
   • Name change can be seen by anyone who looks at the yearbook
   • Name change is permanent in the yearbook

Students who do not complete both steps by this date will have their Synergy name in the yearbook. 

If your name was changed in synergy recently, Contact Mrs. Holt to confirm the change will appear in the book.

SHARING PHOTOS

If you have any photos from school events you'd like us to consider including in the yearbook, go to Varsity Yearbook to share them with us.
