Test Prep Materials

The LearningExpress library has some very high quality test prep materials. You can access the LearningExpress materials, through Oregon CIS (Career Information System): In the upper right corner of the screen, click on Single Sign-On. Choose Salem Keizer. Login with school email and password. Click on Explore Resources/Additional Tools/Learning Express Practice Tests. After choosing which test you’d like to practice, login with your school email and password.  Career Information System.

Here are some additional free resources: 

  • Goodwill Community Foundation Learning's Core Skills modules cover basic skills in math, writing, reading, personal finance, and GED. They also cover some technology such as Word and PowerPoint, cover some job search skills such as resume writing, and have resources in Spanish. See their complete list of topics.

  • Khan Academy has courses to develop skills by grade level  as well as AP and SAT test prep resources.

  • Kaplan and Princeton Review have a few free AP test prep resources. Each has some level of free ACT and SAT resources, too.

  • The GED Testing Service has some free test samples.

  • Career OneStop has many free resources related to job seeking and career exploration.

  • WorkSource Oregon provides resources and support for job seekers and those seeking GED test support. See their website and directory for centers located across the state.
