10th Grade Info

South does not identify IB students.
We develop them!

10th Grade is the year to plan for the IB Diploma.

The IB Diploma begins at the start of the 11th grade.  Students can always opt out of the IB Diploma at any time, but they cannot opt in after 11th grade begins.

DP Learners take an active role in their community

Hear from students, alumni and teachers how a DP education is applied in everyday life. The unique experiences of the DP prepare students to be successful for themselves and others. The PYP ignites curiosity and encourages learners to ask questions. In this video, PYP teachers and students explain how inquiry and critical thinking skills are used in the classroom and beyond.

See the IB Learner Profile poster on IBO.org.
