South Salem Freshman Transition Program
South Salem High School’s Summer Transition Program, taking place on Wednesday, August 6th! This program is designed to help incoming 9th graders get acquainted with the school, meet staff and peers, and start their high school journey with confidence.
To secure your student’s spot, please complete the sign-up form here: Sign Up Now. Space is limited, so we encourage you to register as soon as possible.
South Salem High School is welcoming ALL incoming 9th grade students for the 2025-2026 school year to join us on August 6. Students will have an opportunity to learn about South, become acquainted with the school, meet teachers and prepare for the upcoming school year.
In order to attend, students must:
1) Freshmen enrolled and attending South Salem High School in the fall of 2025.
2) Meet behavior expectations.
3) Be willing to have fun and interact with staff and peers.
4) Students will be active inside and outside of the building, please send them with a water bottle and appropriate attire.
Once applications are completed, all communication will be through the email provided (please ensure that it is correct).

La Escuela Preparatoria South Salem da la bienvenida a TODOS los estudiantes de 9º grado para el año escolar 2025-2026 para que se unan a nosotros del 6 de agosto. Los estudiantes tendrán la oportunidad de aprender sobre la preparatoria South, familiarizarse con la escuela, conocer a los maestros y prepararse para el próximo año escolar.
Para asistir, los estudiantes deben cumplir con lo siguiente:
1) Ser estudiantes de 9º grado que asistirán a la Preparatoria South Salem en el otoño 2025
2) Cumplir con las expectativas de comportamiento.
3) Estar dispuestos a divertirse e interactuar con el personal escolar y los compañeros.
4) Los estudiantes llevarán a cabo actividades dentro y fuera del plantel, envíelos con una botella de agua y vestimenta adecuada.
Una vez que envíe la solicitud, toda la comunicación se realizará a través del correo electrónico proporcionado (asegúrese de que esté correcto).
